Hometown Paris, who found this feedback, sent me a threatening email saying that they would not refund my money if I did not delete this feedback. This threat is illogical, since they canceled my reservation without notice and did not refund my money despite my repeated requests. However, I have chosen to leave this feedback for travelers who plan to use this company's services in the future. Masanori Nagao ------------------------- (Original Feedback - slightly revised) Doing business with this company is risky and not recommended. I am a traveler living in Tokyo. On February 22, 2023, I made a reservation for an apartment on this company's Resorts & Towns SPRL website, Hometown Paris. The name of the apartment is Halles de Paris, the address is 12 rue des Halles 75001 Paris, and the reservation period is July 29, 2024 to August 03, 2024 (5 nights). The purpose of the trip is to enjoy the Paris Olympics with my wife. At the same time as the reservation, I paid a deposit of 562 EURO out of the accommodation fee of 1,125 EURO by credit card. On July 1, 2024, less than a month before the start of the trip, I sent an inquiry to this company to confirm the final reservation and to confirm the payment method for the remaining balance. A few days later, I received a response from this company saying that your reservation was canceled several months ago. Of course, I did not receive any cancellation notice. This company canceled my Olympic trip accommodation without any notice. And what's even more frightening is that this company will not refund my deposit of 562 EURO. I have requested a refund countless times, but as of today, September 12, 2024, it has still not been refunded. I can't believe it. I wonder if this company is functioning properly. I recommend that all good travelers do not use this apartment rental company to avoid any trouble. I can only pray that no one will become a victim like me. By the way, I rebooked another hotel for the Paris Olympics accommodation and everything was fine. It was a wonderful Olympic trip. If I hadn't booked this apartment from the beginning, the Olympics would have been even more enjoyable.

Ewa from Hometown was excellent! She made checking in and out easy and welcoming. She helped us navigate everything we needed to know to feel at home and was immediately helpful when we had one thing that needed to be solved. The apartment was very neat, comfortable and clean. We appreciate Hometown’s services!

I stayed with Hometown Experience and had a flat just minutes from the Eiffel Tower. The apartment was very cozy and clean and we were welcomed by staff right when we arrived. Highly recommend staying with Hometown Experience — you won’t regret it!

Do not stay with these people. We spent 5 nights in their apartment at 12 Rue Des Halles in Paris and had to endure the stench of an open sewer inside the apartment for that entire time. Hometown-Experience sent a technician to investigate on the first day, but not after that; they were unable to improve the problem. To top of off they would not refund any of our money! Do not stay with Hometown Experience!!!!!
