Luggage storage, rental of key boxes Aix en Provence - KeepCase

On our last day in Aix, we had to leave our flat on Rue Rifle Rafle at 11am, as is customary. Unfortunately, the luggage storage facility was closed, apparently due to technical issues. We would have appreciated it if the opening hours on Google had been updated, as this would have saved us from walking all the way to this address. Luckily for us, there are other luggage storage facilities, so we were able to enjoy Aix-en-Provence until 6 p.m. before leaving on the TGV.

On the surface all appears good, however be careful. We deposited our luggage and paid . All good. However on our return - which was within time- the machine wouldn't work and then because of the time it was taking it asked for 2.50 euros more each person. The lady on the security camera sent someone to help but they obviously didn't work for the company. The lady on the phone was not very helpful or understanding. In fact very dismissive and wouldn't accept the problem was there's. She just kept saying we had to pay more. NOT a good experience. Especially if you aren't French. This is a luggage store which is used by foreign people- however the lady said it was for French people?????Instructions to retrieve aren't clear.

Everything is super smooth except 1) the card contact reader takes a few seconds to register a signal so the tapping using a phone may not work. 2) anything beyond 4 hours counts as a whole day.

Great experience! Not sure if it’s the best price but we paid 18 euro for a large locker (fit 2 small suitcases and 2 backpacks) for 5-8 hours. It was really convenient, located in a central area and our bags were safe! Just easily paid for a credit card and it locks the locker, you bring your ticket back to open it. The only thing is there is no person servicing the location, it’s entirely self serve and monitored by video.

Practical for short term storage. Minimum 3h, and after 4h you get charged the day rate which is pricier. Prices at the front indicate cumulative add-on charges not day charge so is a little misleading. Thanks to the comments didn't get caught out! We were able to store two cabin-size (overhead locker equiv) in the large locker. @ €8.40 for 4 hours. More than 4 hours would have been an extra €10. Would be more useful if it was located near the bus or train station but it's on the other side of central Aix (still only a 20mn walk). Perhaps a second branch?
