Cocoonr Rennes - Concierge and rental agency

The apartment in Rennes was incredibly disappointing. It was dark, wet, on the ground floor/underground and smelled strongly of mildew. We slept there only one night and woke up feeling sick and congested. We contacted the company asking to be relocated or for a refund. First they said there were no other apartments available, which was not true. Then they advised us to “air it out”. We already kept the windows open for 3 hours and it did not help. Then they said we could pay to have it cleaned, when surface cleaning was not the problem. Then they sent someone to check the apartment and said there was no problem because there is not visible mold on the walls. They offered zero actual support or solutions, not even a dehumidifier. We left the apartment and rented a hotel. Even with no refund we could not sleep in that nasty apartment. They shouldn’t be authorized to rent this flat “the loft duparc “. It is a cave with the bathroom in the basement. I will never use this company again. They spew so much meaningless corporate language about guests comfort and experience being a “top priority” but when it came time to actually provide customer support they act like an uncaring, dishonest and impersonal machine.

Having travelled recently to Rennes to catch up with friends, I found Cocoonr to be ideal in getting me the right apartment at the right price for my needs. The choice of accomodation was plenty, yet each place with a unique design providing a personal touch rather than the usual hotel standard vibe. The team was super responsive, attending to all my requests in a promptly and friendly manner, whether it be for recommendations around town or special arrival arrangements. I could not fault the team, they were very helpful and went above their duties to make my experience a smooth one. Would highly recommend Cocoonr to anyone looking for an alternative to the all so expensive Airbnb.

This apartment was exactly as shown in the photos. It had all the amenities we were looking for. The walk to restaurants and shops were within 15 minutes. The building was very secure. The property management representative was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We look forward to renting from this property management team in Bordeaux, France in a couple of weeks.

Cocoonr Rennes is a great agency for short accomodation in Rennes and beyond. I stayed with my family in one of their apartments in Rue Edit Cavell, in the city center. I really enjoyed my stay, my wife cooked perfectly with the kitchen equipments and we invited friends to dinner at our (temporary) home for two consecutive nights. Whenever I had questions in my mind, Cocoonr team replied within half an hour. The flat was built inside an 18. Century building. The air inside the patio was fresh. Who could ask for anything more...?

Very bad experience. Unprofessional customer treatment, totally dehumanizing and humiliating. We made a reservation that was confirmed to us, we also informed them of the arrival time that was also confirmed to us and when we arrived our apartment was occupied. The response of these "people" was: We are sorry, there was an error in the system and your apartment is occupied, but you were very lucky because we did not charge your card, look for another place since, fortunately, in A. Rennes there are many other accommodations. Is that the "exemplary" response you give to clients who find themselves lying on the street, with the reservation confirmation and arrival time, after a long trip, the office closed, the apartment occupied, the suitcases and the car parked wrong? It is obvious that this is not going to stay like this. This is completely unfair and their treatment was humiliating. If your type of response is just "dissolute", save it and don't try harder to respond to us. We will carry out our campaign of complaints, notices and reports by any means we find.
