I have been using Booking for many years and greatly appreciate the quality and professionalism of the services provided. This time, however, we were deceived, insulted, and humiliated. We did not lose the key. It was inside the apartment. The door locked, and we couldn’t open it. A minor issue. There was no intervention. Two hours after informing the owner about the situation, someone arrived, claiming to be her employee, with a spare key. He demanded money without providing a receipt. He was extremely rude and aggressive. He stayed in the apartment we had paid to rent. We had called the owner multiple times earlier, but she didn’t answer. Neighbors helped us. The owner initially said she wasn’t available, but then she showed up. She yelled at us, insulted us, and was so aggressive that concerned neighbors intervened. The man who claimed to be her employee was insolent. He mishandled our belongings and violated my personal space. This happened even after we showed proof of a bank transfer, as we didn’t have cash. He shouted at us to leave and grabbed our things. If not for the neighbors’ intervention, he would have thrown them out the door. All this after we had paid for a service that was never provided. We feel belittled and humiliated. People should not be treated this way. We have the phone number of the neighbor who helped us and witnessed the situation, as we asked for her assistance. I have all the correspondence with the owner and photos. We repeatedly requested police intervention, to no avail. Earlier, the apartment owner hadn’t cleaned the place, was rude when we pointed it out, and then it escalated into this scandal. Such individuals should not be allowed to provide services or treat customers this way. My girlfriend crying all night, having been repeatedly humiliated. We urgently request an investigation into this disgraceful matter and that the apartment owner be held accountable. Such practices cannot go unpunished. We have the neighbor’s contact, a witness who corresponded with the owner from my phone for two hours because the owner deliberately ignored our calls. Booking should not allow business with such people. This was a horrific experience, and we are its victims. We were treated cruelly, constantly threatened. We urgently request intervention and clarification regarding this scandal involving extortion for a nonexistent service, verbal abuse, and physical violation. We believe in your decency, honesty, and the high standards we have experienced for years, like in Treviso, where an owner refunded us 20 euros for a one-hour lack of hot water. This matter concerns personal dignity, truth, and service quality. It was an unprecedented humiliation. We are devastated by what happened. We just landed in Poland. PS. I'm posting photos of what the apartment looked like after we picked up the keys. After we intervened, a woman came to clean the apartment. Beware of this company and the owner, terrible people!

This apartment is awesome, tremendous location, good value secure and quiet. It is located in the courtyard of an old French townhouse. So there is no road noise and it is very private. Doesn’t look much from the outside but the apartment is modern and very well appointed. Modern kitchen with all appliances, cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher, American fridge freezer, coffee machine, toaster, kettle breakfast island dining table etc. There is indeed cutlery and utensils in a disguised drawer under the hob. Bathroom is excellent Large shower, great water pressure, full bath, double sinks, washer and dryer in cupboard. There is also a separate toilet if 2 required. Mezzanine has low ceiling small price. There is a pull out double bed on lower level with masses of storage space. Huge tv great Wi-Fi Netflix, prime, you-tube, air con and heating. Host Lola’s communications are spot on, we had a minor hic-up with a missed message, quickly resolved. The key pick up and drop is an electronic box literally about a 4min walk from apartments easy to use and secure. This apartment is a nice 10 min walk to beach, 5min walk to main train station,( easy access to Monaco, Cannes, Antibes) coffee shops and restaurants on your doorstep, it’s huge really can sleep 6, 2 on corner sofa. We were provided with shower gel, very handy as air travel prohibits large containers. Minor niggle, yes the bedding quality could be better given the quality of other appliances, but hey ho. Also if you have mobility issues the spiral staircase is a tight squeeze. Oh and there are no blinds on skylights, although they are frosted for privacy, but Lola has provided eye masks if you don’t want an early wake up. I would rather keep it a secret, but that’s not fair on Lola. Trust the pictures it is awesome and much bigger than a hotel. We will definitely be back and although I didn’t personally see Lola, she was available and answered messages promptly. Just make sure you confirm the key pick up details before you arrive. Will definitely stay again and recommend to those seeking a little local culture.

Had a lovely time staying here for almost ten days - big, spacious appartement with the city centre a ten minute walk away. Had everything we could need - two beds, a washing machine, a hairdryer, a kitchen and much more! Our hostess was lovely and always easy to contact. Would definitely recommend to all!
