La Conciergerie du Barbu

It was one of the warmest and charming welcomes we‘ve ever had. Our stay in a little old village house was wonderful. Everything was impeccably clean, and - still quite unusual in France - the kitchen was not only fully equipped, but also oil and vinegar, spices and coffee were available. Communication with „le barbu“ was easy and checkout time flexible. They do their job wholeheartedly and you can feel it as a guest.

Excellent welcome from the team and very helpful with directions / meeting & greeting / showing us around the property and explaining everything. Very warm on departure as well. Delighted to meet the team members and would highly recommend.

Great host and a superb place in the beautiful town of Sommières - extremely spacious, clean and well decorated, and within easy walking distance of the historic town centre. The host was super responsive and extremely helpful. As I was arriving very late on the first day, he stayed up past midnight to give me directions and help with check-in, which was greatly appreciated!

I can definitely recommend it. Everything was nice and we had a really good time!

Nicolas was a perfect host. His appartement had everything a traveller might need. Cozy and well-designed, it was the perfect cool haven for those warm nights in the South of France. Calvisson is a beautiful typical French village. You feel that you are in the middle of a real experience, away from those tourist sites. I cannot recommand Le petit âne enough.
