Homency: Alpe Huez apartment rental, Alpe Huez chalet rental

We had a perfect stay at the Residence Cachemire A303 apartment. Everything was new, clean, well equiped kitchen, beautiful view on the Fondfroide pistes of Auris en Oisans and the Alpauris cablecar. Absolutely no problems during our stay, and I’m sure if we had any problems Homency would have been there solving them for us! Second Booking with Homency, certainly not the last one! See you again in 2027 🙂

Homency are scammers. Charged 2500 EUR claiming there was a “scratch” on the floor and that “the apartment was dirty”. I repeat, 2500 EUR. The scratch could perfectly have been there from before, we didn’t even know. There are no pictures from before we checked in to the apartment. Nor did they check the apartment with us during checkout. Additionally, we paid a nearly 400 EUR checkout cleaning fee, put all the garbage into plastic bags and organized everything in a super orderly manner, all of this because the building had no garbage disposal room, and neither did the street. Basically, they would say anything just to charge the security deposit, and if you read previous reviews you’ll see they regularly do this. Don’t trust homency. The owners have done a great job, the apartment is nice and well equipped, but they chose a scammer company to manage their property.

Homency are Scammers!!! Please read this before doing business with them. We stayed at an amazing apartment, and its a shame that the owner left the administration of the property with Homency. They are scammers. I had made the reservation on booking and when i suggested changing the dates of the booking, they asked me to reserve directly through their website, which I of course did not do, and apparently they did not like that. When arriving on the apartment, one of my friends arrived first and he did the checkin. They charged him 2500 euros for security deposit which was already not the value agreed on booking that stated 2000 EUR. Worth noticing that my reservation on booking includes a 340 EUR exit cleaning fee and 180 EUR bed lines fee. On checkout no one answered me nor went to the apartment to do the final checkout with us. For my surprise 5 days later the call me saying the dishes were not washed, one table was dirty, and there 2 scratches, one on the fridge and one on the floor, and for that they would keep the entire 2500EUR. I was unfortunately unlucky not to film the apartment before we entered because I was not ready for a Scam. The company seemed legit. I personally checked the apartment before we left and apart from the dishes and cleaning issues that should be covered by the 340 EUR fee, there was absolutely nothing wrong. I hope the apartment owner of apartment B46 Pheonix Residence sees this, because we are absolutely sure they are keeping this money for them (Homency) and not to cover some scratch they accused of being there. Absolute scammer and thieves. They waited enough time to know we were not in France anymore to question everything. Homency, be sure this will not stay like this. I do not tolerate scammers. I will be taking legal measures against you. Be careful with those scammers!

You will not be disappointed with this excellent accommodation!! Pretty much ski in/ski out - walk about 50m to the ski track down to Bergers from outside mmv hotel and ski back to the car park via Club Med. Ski room massive with heater for boots, if needed. Plenty of room in the chalet for up to 6 people - loads of utensils, plates, cutlery, cleaning products etc. Large TV with Netflix was well used by us in the evenings. 5 mins walk to Bergers, 10 to Palais du Sports and 15 to Ave de Jeux so really handy. Would certainly come again to this chalet if we ever come back to Alpe D'Huez.

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is very comfortable, beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. Everything was impeccable: the ski lockers, the parking, and the terrace with a lovely view. The only small suggestion would be to provide some basic amenities upon arrival, as for example there was no toilet paper 😱 The mattresses are a bit firm, but these minor details did not detract at all from the excellent experience we had in this beautiful place. We would definitely recommend it and would happily come back.
